| *happy dance around the whole house* MY BROTHER WAS BORN TODAY!!!!  Logan Elijah Moore was born at 8:21 AM PST, not the first baby of the new year though. he's 21 and 1/2 inches long and weighs a whopping 9 lbs 13 ounces.  yes that is almost 10 lbs. and boy could Mom tell, lol. i knew he'd be at least 8 lbs, but i didn't think he'd be quite that big. Mom was admitted at about 2:30 in the morning, her water broke at 5:30, and then two and a half hours of hard labor. and Mommy soldiered through all that without an epideral (sp?)! so big gold star for Mommy. 
everyone is healthy and happy, just very very tired. he looks just like my stepdad, but acts like me already. and he has the cutest little pouty lip when he cries. pix to come shortly. they'll be coming home tomorrow afternoon/evening as long as the doc clears them both, but everything looks perfect right now. and i am now heading off to bed, as i have been up for 26 hrs. straight now.
oh and as a side note, the new year's eve party i went to before i got to the hospital was the best one i've ever been to. woot woot!! | | |
| it's been entirely too long since i have posted. but in my defense, i
have been extremely busy with school and other crap. like i'm
still trying to get in touch with the jazz director at NSU so i can do
my audition to officially get into the music program. i was
supposed to see him before thanxgiving break but that didn't
happen. i was also supposed to go to TX for thanxgiving, but that
didn't happen either cuz Ryne's twin brother Seth got hurt at work and
tghey found out he's got a birth defect that basically his second
vertabre is protruding up through his first vertabre into the hole in
the base of his skull where the brain connects with the spinal cord. so
the hole is a lot smaller than it should be, and is putting pressure on
his cerebelum, brain stem and spinal cord. any more damage could
be life threatening and he may have to have surgery. i just told
Momma that i'd stay in OK so she wouldn't have to worry about me
tagging along. but it was cool, cuz i spent thanksgiving with
Justin and his brother Josh and his grandparents. that was a lot of
fun. almost a whole week of no school and being a bad girl, lol.
anyway, the semester's almost out and i'm acing most of my
classes. love my music classes. we have the christmas
parade tomorrow, i'll be glad when that is done. that's all for

he had jaundice pretty bad at five days, so the doc sent a bed with UV
light coming up from underneath him. we didn't like putting him in it
cuz it was like a straight jacket and he cried cuz we couldn't hold him.
after his first doctor's appointment. he got three blood tests in one day because of his jaundice.
out like a light.
